Solar Energy Collaboration to Support More Efficient and Sustainable Industrial Operations

Jakarta, June 17, 2026 – PT Bukit Muria Jaya (BMJ), together with iForte Energi, has officially commissioned a rooftop solar power hub with a total installed capacity of 5.5 MWp, located across BMJ's production facilities in Karawang and Kudus. The inauguration marks a key milestone in the implementation of the two companies' strategic partnership, signed on January 16, 2025, to support the clean energy transition and more sustainable industrial operations.

The rooftop solar project comprises installations of 5,048 kWp at the Karawang facility and 455 kWp at the Kudus facility. Combined, the system is capable of generating 7,596 MWh of electricity annually and reducing carbon emissions by up to 6,836 tons of CO₂ per year — equivalent to the environmental benefit of planting approximately 151,918 trees.

The rooftop solar implementation forms part of PT Bukit Muria Jaya's broader commitment to embedding sustainability principles across all areas of its operations. By harnessing solar energy as a clean power source, the company is able to improve energy efficiency while reducing its dependence on conventional energy sources.
